Complete the BMS new member induction to learn about how we operate and all our rules and policies. This induction will take around 40-60 minutes.

A bandsaw is a toothed steel blade passed over two band wheels. It's designed to perform long or cross cuts on timber or wood-type materials.

It can cut stock down to fixed dimensions (crosscut, resaw, and rips), as well as create joinery cuts such as bridle joints, dovetails, and tenons. It can do detailing like bevels, chamfers, and curves. As well as prepare material for lathes.

This course will induct you on the basics of using the woodworking workshop at BMS.

This will cover basic safety procedures as well as woodshop use rules, best practice, and etiquette.
